recording lifee:: sept 9 - sept 15 2013

The first few days of this week may just be the most difficult this semester of uni.
I was scheduled to have two midsemester tests and two quizzes on the Monday and with the help of my planner, I felt prepared {{and not stressed}} about my ordeal.

Eleven minutes into my first midsemester of the day, the fire alarm went off and we were effectively kicked out.  The replacement midsemester was the next day, which changed my "To Dos" for the Monday and Tuesday {{the rest of the week, really!}}.  The rest of the week was spent catching up on my studies.

Motivational quotes scattered here and there kept me going and the cheery colours helped lift my mood this week.

Sticky tabs from Typo & pink stripe washi tape, gifts from littleredmoose; flower washi tape & Martha Stewart classic sticky notes, gifts from cafeetpapier; coleto barrels from sweet collection & assorted pen refills purchased from Jetpens.
The supplies that I used to pretty up my week include Martha Stewart post it notes, washi tape, assorted stickers {{also a gift from cafeetpapier}}, and a few doodles with the help of my Coletos.

I'm ready to say hello to the next week {{and more sleep}}.

    1. Omgsh, tell me about it! Now that I only have one midsemester test left, I have been slapped in the face by three prac reports. Plus one more ongoing LARGE assessment.

      Those Coletos are gawjus, but I prefer the Unistyle fit ones, I think it is a lot smoother to write with. =]

    2. Uni student life aye? lol.

      I know how you feel, what is it with the huge assignments?

      I have a participation subject (not sure if my uni is the only one that does this) it is where they partner with a real company and we develop and pitch our plan they should use. So never wracking!

      Hmmm I think I need to look into these pens...did you buy them online?

    3. I think I just remembered ANOTHER one I am meant to be keeping up with. Sigh, why is the midsem break in second semester so far into the semester?!

      I bought the pens on jetpens via a friend in the US. I have yet to find one in Melbourne.
      {{Actually, I lied, I saw a VERY SMALL SELECTION in Glen Waverley once}}

    4. I think this semester has gone super quickly. However, everyone I have spoken that is at uni is saying this semester has been so full on. Can't wait till this semester is over!

      Ohh thanks for the link. I may have a look on eBay or hunt around the Sydney stores, even Glen Waverley is a bit far for me lol

      I think I will make a post about how I use my filo as a student. There is a meaning behind this colourful mess!

      Would love to see how you set it up for uni, method in the madness haha!

    7. I think it will be my 6th (3rd year and one more to go!!). I think I'm starting to learn how to be prepared for it as each exam period goes on. It's definitely something you have to learn to be prepared for.

    1. I find that they stall a bit and the ink flow reduces at certain parts of the pages. I'm not sure if it is the ink or the pages itself. The colours are great, they are inkier than a normal pen and I love the tiny nib!!

      I'll do a blog post sometime about it, I have a few lined up but I've had a few questions about it so I will try asap!
