love diaries:: mint kikki. k, you've captured my heart

It's pretty easy to look good when you are dressed in mint and gold polka dots.  This mint kikki. K planner have captured my heart, and made me swoon dreamy pastels and pretty balloons.  I really wasn't planning on adding another planner to my already large collection, but at 30% off, I couldn't resist - I had to!

This mint kikki. K planner is in the medium size, the same as the Filofax personal size.  The Filofax personal size fit into the kikki. K planner perfectly and in turn, the kikki. K inserts can be used in Filofax personal sized agendas.

The sections in this planner by kikki. K included:
1// Monthly view
2// Weekly view
3// Addresses
4// Birthdays & Anniversaries
5// Shops & Restaurants
6// To Do
7// Expenses

As I already have my diary set up for 2014, I was not too worried about the inserts that came along with it - in fact, I am most likely going to repurpose some of them to track online purchases, and so on.  Still, the transparent mint ruler divider is just too cute, I absolutely love seeing it in between my current week pages!

I slipped my pages into the kikki. K diary pretty quickly and loved how my past pages match so perfectly with the mint planner! Not going to lie, the mint ombre tabs looks even better in this planner than my yellow Original.

What my other planners lack are large pockets - larger than credit card sized slots.  I absolutely love this as I can use the pockets to store folded large papers, pamphlets, receipts and so on.  As a student, I know that this will be incredibly useful come the start of semester!

This planner is a popular one, and it's easy to see why.  Still, I waited this long before purchasing it because I needed to accept its shortcomings as well.  First of all, I'm not a fan of the elastic band - if kikki. K made diaries and planners in this size with a clasp, I would jump on it and never let go! Once I was able to accept the elastic band, I was more than happy to make my purchase - and at a discounted price, how could I say no?
